The space

Stay here and you are in the middle of everything. Any true local will tell you that this location is ideal. You can easily get anywhere in the city from here.

The location is situated between the French Quarter and Bayou St. John. You will have quick access to both the lively side of New Orleans and the quieter, history filled experiences that make the city so special.

• The French Quarter is a 2-minute car ride, five minutes by bicycle, and 15-20 minutes on foot depending on your pace.
• Uber is never more than two minutes away, $8–10 rides to The French Quarter, Frenchmen Street, the Marigny, and Bywater.
• Public Transit is two blocks away, with city buses making stops in The French Quarter and the N. Rampart St. Street Car (trolley).
• Motorized bike rental racks are close by.

Before you book, a quick note on expectations:Please know that my property is in a residential neighborhood, and it is not a hotel. If you book here, please don't arrive expecting a corporate hotel environment. While I provide great amenities and keep the place much cleaner that a hotel, the fact remains that it is a private property.

The house is located in a mixed residential and commercial area close to the French Quarter. It’s a clean, comfortable spot that is truly great for good-natured, friendly travelers, the kind of people who enjoy having a good time, conversing with strangers on the street, eating way too much good food, going out to hear live music, history buffs/enthusiasts and those that enjoy supporting local street musicians and artists.

For the past 8 years, I have put a lot of time, effort, and heart into providing the best possible experience for my guests. I love hosting nice, friendly people, but again, if you are looking for a lack luster hotel vibe, this isn't it! If you want an authentic, clean, and welcoming home base, you’ll love it here.

In line with my license, my place is set up for a maximum occupancy of two people.

Other things to note

• I provide all the basics to make your stay comfortable: drip coffee maker, ground coffee & filters, microwave, mini fridge, mini hotel soap bottles, a hair dryer and flat iron, lots of extra bath towels, eco friendly cleaning supplies, a first aid kit, and a starter pack of toilet paper. After these supplies are depleted guests are required to purchase their own.
• I do not provide: bottled water, snacks or paper towels.
